GATTERDAM John T. "Jack" Gatterdam, age 83, of Powell, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 at home. Born in Columbus to the late Nicholas and Eleanor Gatterdam, Jack was a graduate of Holy Rosary High School and a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War. Jack was retired after 40 years as a Sales Rep. for Kitchen Kraft. He was a volunteer for many organizations and charities. In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his son Thomas Gatterdam and his brothers Nicholas, Richard and Charles. He is survived by his sister, Patricia Schwenker of Sarasota, FL; brother, James E. (Margie) Gatterdam of Bexley; daughter-in-law, Vicki Gatterdam of Whitehall; grandsons, Nick Gatterdam and Rich (Randie) Gatterdam; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Tanner and Carter Gatterdam, all of Whitehall; and his long-time best friend, Connie Belcher of Dublin. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12NOON FRIDAY, JUNE 22, 2012 at ST. JOAN OF ARC CATHOLIC CHURCH, 10700 Liberty Rd., Powell, Ohio 43065, (614)-761-0905 with The Reverend Raymond Larussa, Celebrant. Private family burial will be observed.
