Nienkirchen Kenneth Joseph Nienkirchen, age 89, of Delaware, died peacefully Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at St. Ann's Hospital. Founder of Concept 9, Inc., Wyandotte Raceway, KNJ Racing, KNJ Printers Supply and KNJ Platemakers, Inc. Member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Veteran U.S. Army Air Corp, 2nd Lt., 8th AF 452nd Bomb Group, B-17 Bombadier, WWII European Theatre. Preceded in death by wife Mildred June Nienkirchen, brother James B. Nein, sister Helen Hennel. Survived by sons, Kurt (Sandi) of Delaware, twins Kris (Peggy) of Delaware and Karl of Columbus, Kit "Red" (Joan) of Columbus; grandchildren, Brandt, Blair, Kristin, Matthew; step-granddaughter, Addy Putman; great-grandchildren, Nuwriy, Victoria, Alexandra, Xavier, Nia. Memorial Service 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Chapel at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 N. High Street, Lewis Center, OH. Inurnment to follow with military honors.
