Trip to Gallia and Meigs County

Amy and I are planning a trip to Meigs and Gallia Counties November 10-12. We hope particularly
to get more information on John Ervin, ancestor of Roy Ervin (now of Tuscarawas Co., Ohio), whose
DNA test matched those of Amy's father/J. Willis Ervin/ and a descendant of Samuel Ervin Jr. John
Ervin was born in KY in 1805 but spent most of his life in Meigs Co.

If anyone has anything you want us to look for please let us know well in advance, i.e., right now.
We are planning to go to the courthouse in Pomeroy, possibly the courthouse in Gallipolis, and the local
historical/genealogical societies.
