Sarah A. Wells was born near Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio, May 10, 1839, died at her home near Harrisonville, Ohio, February 16, 1912, being 72 years, 9 months, 6 days.  She lived near the place of her birth until the year of 1863 when she was married to Asberry S. Irwin and moved to Meigs county, Ohio, where she has since resided.

Obituary obtained from the Chester-Shade Historical Association, Meigs County, Ohio Bedford Lodi Collection, page E10 John Erwin was born near Paris, Pendleton County, Kentucky, April 15th, 1805, and died at his residence in Bedford township, Meigs, Ohio, July 23, 1891, aged 86 years, 3-months and 8 days.
